Working with Templates
Unit settings, including interruption and alerts settings, can be saved as a template. You can reduce errors and save time by applying a template when you need to set up several units of the same type.
Templates can also be created, edited, imported, or deleted from theUnit Template Editor Page. Templates can be applied from the Apply Templates Page or the All Units Page.
To access the Template or Save As Template pane, click 
Template in the Unit Setup pane on the Unit Admin page for a unit. The location of the link within the pane is dependent on the unit type. Some units use the Unit Setup pane shown on the left, while others use the one shown on the right.

The settings saved to the template are based on the current unit.

Some functions are not available for certain unit types.
