Set Up CartoPac Mobile For a GPS Receiver

CartoPac Mobile must be set up to integrate with the GPS receiver for data collection purposes. The following settings must be configured:

1. The NMEA Driver must be configured for use. Refer to Configure the NMEA Driver for instructions.

2. The specific Bluetooth COM Port used by the paired GPS receiver must be known and selected in CartoPac Mobile. Refer to Identify a COM Port to find the COM port and Configure a COM Port for instructions on selecting the COM port in CartoPac Mobile.

   Refer to GPS Receiver Configuration App on using a GPS receiver configuration app as an aid to identifying the Outgoing COM Port that is used with the paired GPS receiver.
