Overlays

Overlays are created from surveys that have been sent to the SnapView module and include overlapping data. An Overlay is a view of the data of multiple surveys aligned to a chosen (base) survey.  For each point on the base survey, the closest point of an overlaid survey will be matched.  When looking at the resulting overlay table, the total number of points on the overlay will match the base survey, and matched points will be aligned.  Only matches for the base survey are present in the final result.
