Edit Layers Properties
You can edit properties and other information about a Layer.
Complete the following steps to view or edit data about a selected layer:

Select the
button to display the main toolbars.

Select the
Expand Layers Sidebar button to expand the side panel and display a list of available layers.

Double-tap the name of the layer. A Data Summary window opens.

From the Data tab of the Data Summary window, you can perform any of the following tasks for a record.

Sort Table — enter words, phrases, or parts of words that you would like to sort the table by and then tap the
button to refresh the data in the table. You can also sort the table in ascending or descending order by tapping the

next to the column header.

Select Table — tap the button above
to open the Select Table window. The Select Table button's design is dependent on what table is currently showing. For example, if the layer is represented by a black dot, the button will display using that icon —

Refresh List — tap the
button to refresh the data in the table.

Delete Record — tap the
button to delete the currently selected record.

Go To Record — tap the Goto button to close the Data Summary window and have the selected record display on the map.

Edit Record — tap the Edit button to close the Data Summary window and display the edit buttons. Refer to Edit Button and Feature Edit Buttons for more information.

Edit Data — tap the Data button to open the data point form where information about the record can be edited. Refer to Inquire Button for more information. For read-only records, a listing of data input information displays for reference.

Select the Filter tab of the Data Summary window to set how the data on the Data tab will be filtered.

Starts With, Range, Contains, and Equals filters can be filtered by case-sensitive.

Auto and Proximity filters can be filtered by units. Select a unit a measure from the Units drop-down list.

Query filter includes filters for the query. Add Alias and SQL Query filters by tapping the Add button and entering an alias and SQL Query in the respective fields. The query information can be deleted or edited after it has been added. Use the Delete and Edit buttons to complete these tasks.

Select the Column tab of the Data Summary window to add or remove columns that display on the Data tab. Select the Show check box to add a column and then select the attribute from the drop-down list.

Select the Data tab to return to the data table. The attributes you selected on the Column tab now display as table headers.

Select
to refresh the data in the table.

If the record is read-only, the Data Summary window will be slightly different; some buttons will be grayed-out to denote that those functions are not available for this record.

Read-only records cannot be deleted or edited.
Select Table Window
Select what to show from the Show section and then select the table from the Tables drop-down list. This list includes all layers that are a part of the project.
