Data Alert Condition Operators and Trigger Values

An alert is a condition of interest indicating the status of a unit. Data alerts send notifications of an alarm event for a data point.

The following table provides a description of available Operators and the corresponding Trigger Value (if available) for data alert conditions (refer to Add Conditions to an Alert. for details on creating this type of alert).

For some Trigger Values, an engineering unit displays next to the Trigger Value field. After you save the new Condition, the engineering unit value is then displayed in the Eng. Units column in the Conditions tab.
