Separate the Survey File and Images

If a single survey file has more than 750 files or if the total file size of the survey is more than 528MB, complete the following steps before using the Transformation Tool:

1. On your personal computer, create two folders: SurveyName_Data and SurveyName_Images, where SurveyName is the actual name of the survey.

2. From your mobile device, copy the PSX to the SurveyName_Data folder on your personal computer.

3. From your mobile device, copy the images to the SurveyName_Images folder on your personal computer.

4. Use the Transformation Tool to convert the SurveyName_Data folder. Refer to Convert PCS Field Data Collector Survey Files for PCS 2.0 or 1.14 for instructions on using the Transformation Tool.

5. Unzip the converted survey and move the DAT/HDR file into the SurveyName_Images folder.

6. Import the SurveyName_Images folder into PCS. Refer to Send and Receive Files for additional information.
