Access Site Locator Tool from Site Record Pages

Follow these steps to determine bearing and distance to a survey site with GPS coordinates entered into the Facility Location field. The Site Locator window is available from the Info, Inspection, and Maintenance pages by tapping the icon.

1. Tap the icon in the page header to open the Site Locator.

2. The Site Locator window will appear.

   

   Site Locator

   Use the Site Locator to:

   1. Toggle the Metric option on and off.

   2. See the number of GPS satellites being tracked.

   3. See latitude and longitude coordinates for your current location.

   4. See latitude and longitude coordinates for the target site's location.

   5. View a real time indication of bearing and distance to the target site.

   6. Identify the source of GPS data.

3. To close the Site Locator, tap the screen anywhere outside of it's window.
