Assign an RFID Tag to a Site

If you have an RFID tag that has not yet been assigned to a site, you can assign the tag to a site in your survey file.

Complete the following steps to assign an RFID tag to a site:

1. Tap a site from the Site List to open the site.

2. Locate the survey record for the site (see Locate a Specific Survey Site).

3. Press the RFID pen's scan button while touching the pen's touch tip to the RFID tag.

   If you are using an iOS device, you must tap the button located at the top of the site record window before scanning an RFID tag with an RFID pen.

4. Tap Yes in the No Site Found window to assign the RFID tag to the current record's site.

Whenever an RFID pen is used to scan the RFID tag again, Periodic Survey will display the survey record associated with that tag.
