Set Up the Archer 4

The first time the Archer 4 is powered on, Android setup options are shown.

Follow the prompts to set up your unit as desired, including:

• Language and region

• Wi-Fi network connection

• Google account sign-in

• Security options (PIN, pattern, or fingerprint)

• Date and time settings

Also refer to the Archer 4 Quick Start Guide included in the shipping box for additional setup recommendations.

Connect to Wi-Fi

1. Swipe down from the top of the screen.

2. Long tap Internet.

3. Tap Wi-Fi to turn Wi-Fi on, if needed.

4. Tap the network you want to access and enter the password if prompted.

The Wi-Fi indicator appears at the top of the screen when connected.

Connect to Bluetooth

1. Swipe down from the top of the screen.

2. Long tap the Bluetooth icon.

3. Tap Pair new device.

4. Choose the name of the device to pair from the list.

The Bluetooth icon appears at the top of the screen when connected.

After completing Android setup, refer to Install PCS Field Data Collector App on Archer 4 to install FDC.
