Archer 4 Programmable Key Features

The Archer 4 has two programmable keys, P1 and P2, located on the front of the device. The keys can be customized from Settings > Programmable Keys.

The following table describes the default key functions. Keys can be reassigned to other functions as needed. Refer to the Archer 4 User Manual for instructions on changing key functions.

Key Default Function
P1 Displays the Home screen
P2 Shows recently used apps (App Select)

Additional functions that can be assigned to either key include:

Back, Home, App Select, Volume Up, Volume Down, Brightness Up, Brightness Down, Menu, Enter, Touchscreen Enable/Disable, Screenshot, navigation keys (Tab, Left, Right, Up, Down), Space, Backspace, Camera Capture, Scan, numbers 0–9, and function keys F1–F12.

Power on/off

Press and hold power button for 3 seconds Power on
Press power + volume up, then tap Power Off Power off
Press power + volume up, then tap Restart Restart

Do not force a shutdown by holding the power button for 18 seconds except when the device is unresponsive. Forcing a shutdown while the device is running can cause damage.
