Why and How do I Export to Table?

A feature of PCS is being able to export your data into designated SQL tables. The reason you would use this feature, as opposed to directly querying from the database tables, is that certain fields are calculated at runtime. There is also an advantage of data aggregation with using the export to table feature to provide a better data querying experience.

Before you begin to configure your export bridge, be sure to verify that you have the correct database permissions to be able to do this. You will also want to plan which data items you want to include in the export. The data items represent a category for the facility type where different data fields live; for example, Test Point Inspections or Rectifier Inspections are data items.
