CartoPac Server Setup Admin Privileges

Many of the tasks configured in the CartoPac Server Setup Wizard require Administrative privileges. When the wizard is run as an administrator, the status light indicator is green.

Even though a user may have administrative privileges, this wizard should always be opened via the Run as Administrator menu under the of right click menu options. If installing the software for the first time via a command line, ensure that the command line is running as an administrator before this tool launches following the installation. Common issues to do with User account control (UAC) can prevent the wizard from actually registering ASP.NET with the proper version of IIS even though it may appear to successfully complete such tasks on the Setup Menu of the wizard.
