Global States

A CWM Workflow is a custom process by which features may be tracked and transitioned through from a starting state to a finishing state.

Before a CWM Workflow can be created, states that make up the workflow must first be created on the CWM Administration page's Global States tab. Global States are managed on this tab as well.

The CartoPac Workflow Manager includes a built-in Starting State called Uploaded and a built-in finishing state called Archived.

Features in an Archived State are hidden by default and may be viewed by users and roles with a special permission to view archived features.
