Goto Navigation or Feature Navigation Options

The Goto Navigation and Feature Navigation options under the Mode menu give you the option to navigate your project either by going directly to a coordinate (Goto Navigation) or

Complete the following steps to select either navigation modes:

  1. To go to a selected coordinate, select Mode > Goto Navigation.

    The Goto navigation toolbar displays. The compass is also displayed on the right side of the window, which is based on your selections in File > Options > Navigation. Refer to Tablet Options for more information.

    1. Select icon to open a Goto Coordinate window.

      2. Goto Coordinate Window

    2. Enter coordinate values and select OK. The map location updates to display the selected coordinates.

  2. To go to a selected feature, select Mode > Feature Navigation.

    The feature navigation toolbar displays. The compass is also displayed on the right side of the window, which is based on your selections in File > Options > Navigation. Refer to Tablet Options for more information.

  3. To close the either of the navigation toolbars, select the icon.
