Pair the CR2700

Complete the following steps to pair the CR2700 CODE barcode reader using Bluetooth:

1. Right click the Bluetooth icon on the taskbar.

2. Scan the following barcode to make the device discoverable. This will put the barcode reader into keyboard mode and allow it to connect.

   To pair with an iOS device, Reset the CR2700 , scan the barcode below, and follow steps for pairing a bluetooth device in iOS.

   If pairing multiple devices and you want to display the device’s unique serial number, use the following barcode:

3. Select Add a Bluetooth Device.

4. Select Bluetooth from the list of options.

5. Select Code CR2700 from the Bluetooth list and click Pair.

   The code scanner, once on, may take 1-2 minutes to appear in the list and may appear as Code CR2700 or as the Unit's Serial Number. If the Code Scanner continues not to display after 1-2 minutes, it may require initial setup or need to be reset. See Reset the CR2700.

6. Wait for pairing to complete. The device will show as Paired in the Mouse, Keyboard, & pen sub-menu when ready.

7. Scan the following QR code to set the CR2700 to prefix/suffix mode.

   The CR2700 operates as a keyboard and does not require setting up a COM port to communicate with CartoPac Enterprise. The device is ready for use after being set to prefix/suffix mode.
