Manually Set the COM Port

Follow these steps to manually set a COM port for a barcode reader in CartoPac Mobile when using a serial barcode reader:

1. Open CartoPac Mobile’s Options menu and scroll to the Barcodetab.

   

   Options > Drivers > Barcode Window

2. Ensure the Comm. Port entry is set to use the outgoing COM port for the barcode reader.

3. Click OK to save the settings.
