How to Clean Corrosion Build Up on Probe Sensor

Should a build-up of corrosion or scale occur on the probe's measurement sensor, first wipe the sensor array with a clean cloth to remove any loose material. Then use a non-metallic scouring pad, such as a Scotch-Brite® scouring pad, to remove any remaining materials. With medium to light hand pressure, move the scour pad up and down the length of the sensor array until all corrosion and scale is removed. Finally, wipe the sensor array again with a clean cloth.
