Install and Connect Solar Panel

Complete the following steps to install an optional solar panel.

1. Mount the solar panel on an available pole or structure.

2. Tilt the solar panel angle bracket so the glass panel faces south for maximum sun exposure.

3. Connect the solar panel battery charger cable to the DC/Solar connection on the RMU.

   The pin connectors on the RM4210 or RM4211 can be wired without regard to polarity; it does not have a positive-negative configuration.

   

   DC/Solar Input
