RM4010, RM4014, and RM4014S Unit Overview

The RM4010, RM4014, and RM4014S are housed in a NEMA4X-rated weatherproof enclosure. They are designed primarily for cathodic protection applications, support two-way communication with Bullhorn Web using the SkyWave/ORBCOMM satellite network, support an optional relay connection for GPS synchronized current interruption, and provide six (6) configurable input channels with the following specifications:

Active Digital is currently not supported.

  • Input channels 1, 3, and 4: support analog (±5 V DC).

  • Input channel 2: supports analog (±100 V DC).

  • Input channels 5 and 6: support digital (0 - 15 V DC). Channel 5 can also be used as an accumulator.

To ensure consistent two-way communication between the unit and Bullhorn Web, the satellite terminal must have a clear overhead path to the sky with no obstructions such as buildings, trees, or hills and be pointing in the direction of the satellite.
