Connect GPS and GSM Antennas

Complete the following steps to install the magnetic-mount GPS and GSM antennas. The GPS antenna is used to synchronize rectifier current interruption and the GSM antenna acquires cellular signal.

Dual GPS/GSM Antenna Cable

Complete the following steps:

1. Connect the GPS connection end of the dual antenna cable in the connector on the top of the unit enclosure, which is labeled GPS ANTENNA. The cable for the GPS antenna is labeled. It also has a red ring at the top of the connector.

2. Connect the GSM connection end of the dual antenna cable in the connector on the top of the unit enclosure, which is labeled GSM ANTENNA. The cable for the GSM antenna is labeled. It also has a blue ring at the top of the connector.

3. Place the antenna on a metal surface, such as the rectifier enclosure. The antenna will be permanently mounted on the outside of the rectifier.
