Bullhorn Tools PC

Bullhorn Tools PC is the software version of the configuration tool for Bullhorn remote monitoring units. This version of the configuration software is meant to be installed on a laptop or computer. To configure units with Bullhorn Tools PC, you will need to connect your unit to the laptop or computer using either a USB cable (units with a USB port) or Bluetooth (units with Bluetooth capabilities). If using Bluetooth, you must also have the Bluetooth dongle connected to your laptop/computer. Contact Sales if you need a USB cable or a Bluetooth dongle. Also refer to your unit type's user guide, which can be found on the Bullhorn RMU Support site, for complete instructions.

• Bullhorn Tools PC can be used to configure and troubleshoot RM1250 units, RM3250, RM4000 Series units (except RM4211, RM4012, and RM4020 - see notes below), and MicroMax GPS300, GPS350, and GPS360 interrupters.

• Bullhorn Tools is also available as a mobile app for either Android or iOS from the Apple® App Store or Google Play Store. Refer to Bullhorn Tools Mobile for more information on how to configure Bullhorn remote monitoring units that can use the mobile app.

• NOTE: The RM4211 can only be configured with the Bullhorn Tools mobile app.

• NOTE: Currently, Bullhorn Tools does not include configuration for the RM4012 and RM4020. Use the Universal Configuration Toolkit (UCT) for these unit types. See below for the link to download the UCT.

• NOTE: Before installing this version of Bullhorn Tools, uninstall any previous versions of Bullhorn Tools that were installed.

Before using the latest version of Bullhorn Tools, RM4210 units must be updated to firmware version 2.45. Bullhorn Tools v1.6.1758.1 and later is not compatible with RM4210 units that have older versions of firmware. Please read the Bullhorn Tools v1.6.1758.1 Release Notes for very important instructions before using the latest version of Bullhorn Tools.

• Bullhorn Tools requires that both Microsoft .NET Framework for Windows (version 4.6.1 or later) and the Silicon Labs USB driver (version 6.7.4) are installed. See the links below for each of these.
