PCS Field Data Collector data can be manually accessed using the Files app on Android devices.

Field Data Collector survey data is stored from the Android device root storage device:
Internal Shared Storage/Android/data/com.aiworldwide.aim/files.

This directory has several subfolders:

  • Close Interval surveys (.svy) are kept in the CI/ subdirectory.

  • Direct Current Voltage Gradient surveys (.dvg) are kept in the DCVG/subdirectory.

  • DVM data files are kept in the DVM/ subdirectory.

  • The PS/ directory is where the .pss and .psh files go when they are manually copied onto the field computer.

  • FDC stores Periodic Survey files in two folders under the PS/ directory:

    • The Archive/ directory contains current surveys (.pss or .psh files) that have been loaded into the Field Data Collector database.

    • The Completed/ directory holds surveys (.psx files) that have been marked as completed in FDC. These can be loaded into PCS.
