Add or Manage Inspection Images

You can add an image to a site record and then manage those images all on the site record window.

Images can include a description, be set as the primary image, or be deleted.

A field's primary image is used as the Quick View image in PCS and, depending on the configuration in the Form Report theme, is used as the image representing the field for a record in reports. This image is also the first image shown on the line.

Complete the following steps to add an image, edit an image description, mark an image as Primary, or delete an image:

  1. To add an image to an inspection field, tap next to the field.

  2. Tap the icon. A preview of the photo displays. Tap the X to cancel and return to the site window; tap the to accept the photo; or tap the to return to the camera window to take the photo again.

  3. Add a description for the photo, if desired. The first photo taken is automatically marked as Primary.

  4. Take additional photos as needed by tapping the icon.

  5. To edit any saved photo - including marking a Primary photo or deleting a photo - tap a thumbnail.

    1. If the image you want to edit is not shown, swipe either left or right to display the image you want. Tap Edit.

    2. Edit the description, tap Primary to set the image as the Primary, or delete the image by tapping the icon.

    3. Tap Save to save changes or Cancel. The image edit window closes and then returns to the images window.

    4. To edit another image, swipe either left or right to view the other saved images.

      The image marked as Primary will be the first image shown on the line.
