How to Change the Font Size on the Allegro

You can increase or decrease the size of the font on the Allegro MX throughout the entire device or just in the Periodic Survey Field Data Collector. If you change the font size across the Allegro device, the text in many programs on the Allegro will change accordingly. However, this is not guaranteed – the text size may not increase or decrease in every program, such as the AI Field Data Collectors. If you change the font size in the Periodic Survey Field Data Collector, the text displayed in the fields will only increase or decrease in Periodic Survey.

Change the Font Size for the Entire Device

To change the font size across the Allegro device, do the following:

1. Tap the Start button and tap Settings from the menu.

2. Tap the System tab.

3. Tap to open Screen settings and tap the Text Size tab.

4. Move the slider to the right or left to increase or decrease text size.

Change the Font Size for the Periodic Survey Application

To change the font size for the text fields in the Periodic Survey application, open the Periodic Survey application and do the following:

1. Tap View and tap Options from the menu.

2. Tap the Fonts tab.

3. Tap the Size drop-down and tap an option from the list.

4. Tap OK.
