How do I send Allegro Survey Data from PCS 1.12 in a Citrix Environment?

Complete the following steps to send Allegro survey files from PCS v1.12 to the Allegro:

1. Configure PCS to send data to a field computer by doing the following:

   1. Open PCS and click Field Computer > Send.

   2. Select either the Selected ROWs, Route, or Schedule Based On mode.

   3. Configure prompt theme, layout theme, sort theme, and filters as needed.

2. Send Allegro data to a virtual folder by following these steps:

   1. Enter a name in the Output File field.

   2. Select the Send to disk radio button.

   3. Define the output directory by performing the following steps:

      1. Click the ellipsis button ... in the Output Directory field to open the Browse For Folder dialog box.

      2. Navigate to the virtual directory or mapped network path and select a folder for export.

      3. Click OK to close the dialog box and return to the Field Computer Send window.

      4. Click Send to save the Allegro survey to your virtual directory.

   PCS creates two files: one with a .dat extension and the other with a .vls extension. These files are named based on the name entered in the Output File text field.

3. When a message displays confirming the send process is complete, click OK.

4. Transfer the files to the Allegro:

   1. Open Windows Mobile Device Center and click Connect (without setting up your device).

   2. Click File Management and then Browse contents of your device.

   3. Navigate to the virtual directory or mapped network path and select the survey files.

      Ex: G:\Send to Allegro

   4. Copy the .dat and .vls files.

   5. Navigate to the Allegro unit and open the root drive (\).

   6. Open AI > PsData. Paste the copied survey files into the PsData folder. The survey files are now available for the Allegro applications to open.
